Gently put together both drain traps then tighten them loosely with a washer and slip nut. If the arm of the trap is too long to fit in the provided space, then cut them accordingly until they fit perfectly. Use a plier to tighten all slip nuts and again, ensure that you don’t use a lot of force to tighten the nuts. Check all the drains connections to make sure that they are all tight.

Step 6: Check for leaks

Once you are done, run water on The sink basin to see if there are any leaks at pipe joints. If you notice any leaks, tighten up The connection until The leak disappears.
